It has been said, “The great gift of Easter is hope.” Easter is the culmination of God’s big story that reminds us that our hope is not in this world that is seemingly void of hope. Our hope entered this world to bring transformation and restoration through faith to all that is broken. Kierkegaard said, “Christ has not only spoken to us by his life but has also spoken for us by his death.” This Easter, we reflect on love so intense, severe, and passionate that it laid down its life, took our place, and gave us eternal hope.
Join us this Easter as we celebrate a God who loves us sacrificially.
Lent
To prepare our hearts for Easter, we want to offer a way to participate together in the season of Lent. What is Lent, and why do we want to participate? John Mark Comer says, “Lent can be a season of waking. While we so often walk through life numbed by our schedules and scrolling, circumstances and struggles, during Lent, we intentionally narrow our focus, eliminate distractions, and train our eyes back on the cross, waking up to the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.” To help us achieve this goal, we are providing you with a resource that will prioritize the spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, and reading God’s Word this Easter season.
